We’re headed down south to Florida for this food spotlight! For most of us, Florida is just a vacation destination or a source of extreme envy during the winter months. But for some lucky folks, Florida is actually home — including ASL’s second largest office which is located in Clearwater.

Since it is a peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, seafood is often the first thing that comes to mind when you think of food in Florida — especially if you’re a fan of Stone Crab claws. But with Cuba just around 330 miles away from Miami, Florida is an eclectic mix of food and culture. Influenced by Native, African, Latino and European American heritages, Florida has something for everyone.


As always I reached out to some locals to get some recommendations for “must try” spots.
