This week, we continue with our theme of highlighting local restaurants near ASL offices.  This edition of the restaurant spotlight focuses on Philadelphia. With an office just 40 minutes north of the city center in Plymouth Meeting, we have to highlight Philly’s notorious cheesesteak.

The most famous food war in Philly is Pat’s vs Geno’s — who constantly vie for the best cheesesteaks in town. The feud isn’t just about who has the best, but also who is the originator of Philly’s most popular sandwich. However, to most locals these are just tourist attractions. The more important feud for many Philadelphians is Cheez Whiz vs no Cheez Whiz.
I asked some natives to recommend their favorite spots for cheesesteak. So, no matter how you like your thinly sliced ribeye topped, they said to be sure to check out the following:
